NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A violent sex offender didnt report to the sex offender registry last month, and now an arrest warrant has been issued for Billy Gene Oden.
Oden told police he was homeless, and homeless registered sex offenders must report monthly.
Oden was convicted of attempted rape in 1991 and attempted aggravated rape in 1997. The 38-year-old was convicted of invasion of privacy last year for hiding behind a womans house with binoculars.
He has also been convicted for patronizing prostitution, aggravated burglary and theft.
