NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A judge ruled Tuesday that a crucial piece of evidence in the case of accused serial killer Bruce Mendenhall will be allowed during his trial.
A taped interview with Metro Police Detective Pat Postiglione just hours after his 2007 arrest in Nashville will be allowed in court.
Mendenhall is accused of killing at least seven prostitutes, two in the mid-state.
He told detectives during the interview that two men were killing the women with his gun and then dumping the bodies in his truck. Police Interview Tape Released Of Bruce Mendenhall
Mendenhall’s attorneys claimed the detectives violated his constitutional rights that day, and asked that the interview be thrown out.
